Wine 101: Geography June 18th, 2021 – 5:30-6:30pm
We have designed this series of classes for people looking to dip their toes into wine but aren’t sure where to begin, (or even people who just want to go back to basics!). In this four part series, we will be exploring wines through four lenses: Tasting, Describing, Reading, and Geography. In each one, we will sample a broad range of wine styles and use these themes to explore these selections in greater detail. By the end of the series, you’ll be walking down the wine aisle with confidence!
Why can’t you find any good riesling in Spain? Or Grenache in Germany? We will use this class to explore the ways that climate and geography impact wine. We will use this theme to explore 4 different wines from across the world.
