Shafer Winery: “Year in year out, this is one of the superstar wineries, not only in Napa Valley & all of California, but in the entire world”, Robert Parker
I am shaking my head as to why, or even how, their is any of these amazing wines left in Arkansas. This is arguably one of the, consistently, greatest wineries in Napa and the USA. So to be able to get another case or two of these wines, not the Hillside (sorry), makes me feel like I have just won the State Lottery!!!
This is an opportunity not to be missed to get a piece of Napa Royalty!
Here is a quote by Robert Parker that sums up the majesty of this winery.
“Year in year out, this is one of the superstar wineries, not only in Napa Valley and all of California, but in the entire world.
Today, this is a winery that does everything about as perfect as can be. They have kept their feet, heads and egos grounded, and continue to kick proverbial ass with every vintage.

This beauty is massively concentrated, it’s also silky and seamless, with great tannins, no sense of over-ripeness or heaviness, and a finish that goes on for nearly a minute.
